ESI Grips - First Ride Impressions
Hey where did the pain and numbness in my hands go? Yea usually it happens 20min into a ride and wrecks my confidence to go big. Not there, none. No hand numbness no arm pump. Wow I’m impressed. Already I’m willing to sing the praises of esi grips. They look cheesy but sure are grippy and awesome.

Ghetto Tubeless
I’m proud of myself. Yesterday I managed a perfect ghetto tubeless setup. Wrapped the rim to cover spoke holes twice with fiber tape, inserted a presta valve from a old tube. Stuck tire on, put some stans fluid in, and voila tubeless.
I used a maxxis ignitor tire on a mavic open pro rim. Yes not true 29er rim, but this was more of an experiment.
