Mini Review - Rocky Mountain Element 930 29er
I realized tonight as I hopped on a demo Element 29er that it was honestly the first time I had ridden a full susser on trail. Wow in all my years of fixing and riding bikes how could that be? Well truthfully I’m so full of hardtail pride thinking I can ride my hardtail anywhere I’ve held off buying a full susser. Also the buy in is tough, sure I get shop discounts, but sometimes the...

Quickie Review - Velocity Velotape
I setup a couple wheels tubeless yesterday. Rims Velocity VXC (sadly discontinued rims, I love them) using conti mountain king 2 tires (the older tread pattern). As professional freeriders and North Vancouver residents, Wade Simmons and Thomas Vanderham are lucky enough to have a range of bikes to pick from and certainly do not suffer from a lack of...

Grips Review
It seems one of the least considered aftermarket parts in the cycling industry are grips. I find them very important. First it’s one of the main points of contact of the rider with the bike. If you have sloppy riding habits like myself, then you put a lot of pressure in the palm area, and good grips become far more important.
I have terrible nerve issues in my hands and arms, which not only...
